Besame's Mickey Mouse Lipstick Set!

I am loving all the collaborations in honor of Mickey's 90th birthday. When Besame announced that a special edition lipstick set would be dropping on Black Friday, I knew I had to have it!

If you're new to Besame Cosmetics, they are a makeup company influenced by the 1920s, 30s, 40s, and 50s. They aren't just inspired by the vintage aesthetic, they reproduce it!

The two lipstick shades are available individually, but the only way to get the gorgeous, gold-plated compact mirror was in the box set. So of course, that is what I purchased!

Besame always kills it with the packaging and design of its products, and this set is no different. The box itself is amazing, and I have been mulling over ideas on how to repurpose it- you might just see that end result on my blog at some point!

Here's a look at the two lipsticks on my face!

The "Ink and Paint" lipstick might appear intimidating, but let me assure you that it does not apply as black! Science magic causes it to adjust to your personal pH level to give you your own berry shade. I am absolutely loving this color.

The "Mickey Red" lipstick is self-explanatory- the perfect shade of red for your Mickey-inspired outfits! I've never been a big red lipstick person but this just might convince me to change my mind.

Interested in grabbing this set for yourself? I wouldn't wait too long- their recent posts on social media indicate it might be selling out soon! The individual lipsticks are $24 each, and the special box set including the beautiful compact is $50. And don't forget, the only way to get the mirror is in the set!

One last tip before you go.... if you're an Agent Carter fan, Peggy's decoder - aka invisible dusting powder - is still available (see pics of this glorious collection on my Instagram here and here). And while you're shopping, don't forget to check out Besame's absolutely beautiful new collection inspired by Peter Pan's Mermaid Lagoon!

Are you a fan of Besame Cosmetics too? Let me know what you're already using or plan to pick up!
